From Vickisa:
Having had two shows in April was pretty intense. In the one at Gallery Route One I had 37 pieces and then there was a Bolinas Drawing Group Show in Bolinas, and a trip to New Orleans for my latest book and lots more.
May was trying to catch up. My sons came and helped me take down my show. We had a celebration at Marin Joe‘s. It was so fun and rare.

I went to a Bob Dylan tribute with many performers including Maria Muldaur and The Sam Grisman project. 2 days later The Sam Grisman project / Monroe & April Grisman and Maria and more. I’ve known those boys since they were little. Miles Grisman also was there and told me he was now with Marin Fire and I know him from Bolinas fire before.
June Bloom I am starting to see folks Including Peter and the Wolf at the Dance Palace. It was an amazing with a full pro orchestra plus a lot of children musicians. At some times they were working it out and it was small town and charming. I cannot stop humming it. It brings up great childhood memories. This one worked.

I went to Dim Sum and then I went to Bouquets to Art with this crew. Funny story an Asian guy came and started staring at us and I pointed at us I said do you see anything you like I thought I was being so funny and afterwards one of my friends said you know this rock writing is about a Japanese important story on this rock and that’s what he was reading. HAHA

The Story of the littlest Fawn I’ve ever seen Going down towards the beach Sunday right where the street meets the sand ww I was stopped by someone I know who knows I’m an animal person and talk to them and he asked me to come and check out the fawn where there were several people looking up the hill .
The littlest, beautiful fawn with beautiful spots was on the hillside under the grass hidden in a little indentation not too far away. The people had seen it walking and I visually checked it out breathing and everything and then I said let’s just leave it here and I will come and check on it which I did later on after a little music at Smileys. I went back and the fawn was still there. I had put a sign up that said leash, your dog there’s a fawn right up here and with my phone number just in case.
A couple was walking towards me and the fawn just decided to walk towards the ocean and out of its little spot. I said this is not good and I got the guy to help me get the fawn back to the place where it was while the woman made a video of the fawn and my voice. I kept saying this is not good we have to get her(my guess) back to the spot where her mother probably left her . We did it . At 6:30 the next morning I checked there and Scott who was there said the fawn was gone and above us and over the hill was a little family of dear and that’s probably where this one came from. I believe it was a happy ending. What a beautiful fawn. not a bad tale. I put. This in our local paper and folks really liked it so…
