This just in. – So sorry to send 2 things this month. But it is important.
My Granddaughter, Holiday Kriegel (and she is grand) a strong, smart, caring, brave, talented, beautiful young woman who was deeply involved with saving by evacuation 54 horses in Palisades.
It’s about the horses that she was caring for and saved from the barn that burned up in the Palisades where she was training children to ride and also teaching to act at a Rec center as she is an actress as well as a horseback rider extraordinaire.

Holiday wrote – It is with a heavy heart that I share that Jigsaw Farms was burned to the ground in the Palisades Fire. Located at the historic Will Rogers Park in the Pacific Palisades. This is a sanctuary not just to me, but to our horses, and all my students. Along with all our structures- we have lost all our tack, feed, supplies, medication, etc. Any monetary donation makes a difference as well as sharing my social media posts & link to our Go Fund Me. We would love to be able to feed our horses and bring them back to their home ASAP.
Many of my students have lost their homes, schools, churches, temples, parks, libraries, and their beloved barn. My students have changed my life in a way words cannot describe. My goal is to bring them back to their happy place with our horses that bring so many smiles to these kids faces.
To everyone that has already donated, on behalf of Jigsaw Farms, I thank you so much.
We will rebuild and we will be stronger. The palisades is a strong courageous community and I am certain we will come back stronger.

My Grand daughters experience in LA fire
A description of her experience at the Will Rogers original barn. They were told it was in danger and had to be evacuated.
They actually evacuated 54 horses starting with getting a rental truck and getting the trailer that could only hold three horses at a time and just moving them
She was really touched later by many community helpers. They’re trying to figure out how to rebuild the Will Rogers stable, how to feed all the horses and how to pay people for services needed..
She was actually stuck in the canyon before the police came and said to turn around and she was seeing a large black smoke cloud that turned into a white gray covering the blue they were covered with smoke in the area.
They also got a feed company that donated 10,000 pounds of food for the horses andHoliday and Nick her boyfriend had to pick up and bring the food to San Inez which is near Santa Barbara where the second barn was that was attached to this group is standing. She actually did a little social media thing for that company because as an actress she knew she could.
I am very proud of Holiday for all of her bravery, her jumping in, and just working to get it all done and bringing people together and now she’s just started another children’s acting class in one of the moms homes.
The reason she couldn’t come on my radio show is because she has a horse show where she’s riding and some of her students are riding so I’m trying to make this available to people. I know there are a lot of horse lovers around here including me.
The horse that she’s riding now has a history of being a acting horse. Her name is Lulu and she actually came from a kill shelter if you can imagine that anyway. that was who she was riding last week before the fire.
When I asked her how is she doing now she said she’s really busy but she does have moments where she starts thinking about it…
They also had to evacuate their apartment in Santa Monica for a day as it was in the fourth evacuation zone and the National Guard had come in so it was quite intense.
